Year 5 and 6 camp

Were going to camp at school I’m very excited have you ever been to school camp at your own school before?amp we h Once we got to cad to go in our camp groups and I was with Miss Lavakula and our team name was Honest squads and other team names were,All stars,Real deal,Commitments,Matapono e,The true crew. At camp we can do different activity every morning. We did one activity for the whole time until the morning tea bell rang then we did another activity until the lunch bell rings and we do that every time.We have to wake up early in the morning just to do jump jam.

My favorite activity was doing baking with mrs Jarman. But the boys baked with Miss Teto or with Miss Firesaf the girls are lucky to bake with Mrs Jarman. We baked biscuits. We all had turns at pouring ingredients into the bowl then we put the biscuits onto the tray then Mrs Jarman put the tray of biscuits into the oven then we had to use a spatula to take the biscuits off of the tray.

My other thing that I enjoyed was going to GI pools every day but except for friday because on friday all the teams went to mangry pools. At GI pools we got to do anything there but except for pushing and attacking other kids. All I did there is swimming and swimming because I love .

My team Honest squad was playing a game that was called kid zone or kill zone. All we had to do was to vs another and it was All stars so first we had to fill up water balloons there were 200 I think when we were done we only had 138 I think. Then we had four bricks to hope on and we weren't allowed to to touch the grass cause thats the river with screaming deals. Then we we got to chuck the water balloons at All stars and they got to chuck their water balloons at use then we went to the skies and that part was hard a little bit because we kept on falling. Then the blue tunnel the did the tennis ball game it was pretty easy then we moved on to the gumboot throw that was a bit easy then we did the sponges thats when you have to put it in water and fill up another bucket that is empty then we had to go back and do all of the thing again but except the gumboot throw and the  ball game then we had to raise a flag and make a chant up. All stars WON and .

In the holiday

In the holidays I was so excited cause I was going to Taupo. We went early in the morning so there was no traffic in the way .We got there in the morning my Dad's family came but not my Mums family. As we got to our house but the house wasn't ours it was somebody else's house that we brought to sleep in then we unpacked our bags from the car and put clothing in drawers. We went there so we could do an easter egg hunt and to hang out with my family. We got there in a car and it was a 3 hour drive and it took forever and it was so boring when we were going to Tapou.

We did an Easter egg hunt at the house outside not inside. Have you done an easter egg hunt at your own house before? The easter egg hunt was great. I think I found the most easter eggs and I found the most golden easter eggs too. As we were looking for the eggs it easy then went a bit hard. I found a lot on the cars. Then I and my cousin who was 10 years old Montal had to sit outside where it is really sunny and we stayed out there for long but not that long then suddenly our cousins out of the house with my little sister.

As we were sitting outside we had to wait until our other little cousins and my baby sister come back out from inside. In the house they were doing the scavenger hunt . They got to go first cause there under 5 years old one is 4 years old  and another is  5 and another is 3 years old . As they finished the scavenger hunt it was our turn so we got a piece of paper with a clue of where the easter  eggs were . I found mine  in the bathtub cause the said somewhere that  you get clean and thats were I found my easter egg in the bath tube and my cousins one was in a room with bunk beds.

Then we played some games with 2 adults we played musical chairs and as we were playing I was all was close to the chars. But you have to dance while walking around the chairs but I and my cuson didn't dance cause I didn't what to do so I and my cuson didn't win. I forgot who won Then we got to play this a game when you put an egg on a spoon. We had to run to the chair and run back from were we started. Then this was the best part the easter egg scramble and my favrite easter egg the little kinder eggs.
